How does the add-on system work?

ORX Travel’s add-on engine lets you offer optional upgrades like hotel price drop protection, seat selection, and meal preferences at the time of booking. You choose which add-ons to offer, and our system handles the logic, display, and pricing.

Can I control which add-ons are offered?

At the moment, only hotel price drop protection can be targeted. Other add-ons like seat selection and meal preferences are currently displayed universally at checkout. We're working on expanding customization options in future updates.

Is price drop protection available for all hotel bookings?

Price drop protection can be enabled for supported hotel providers and fare types. It automatically monitors hotel prices after the initial booking and rebooks when a lower rate becomes available, saving your clients money while generating service fees for you.

Will clients understand what each add-on includes?

Yes. Each add-on comes with a clear description at checkout, so clients know exactly what they’re getting—whether it’s hotel price drop protection, seat selection, or meal preferences. You can customize the language and pricing to align with your brand while ensuring transparency for travellers.

Are insurance add-ons available?

Not at the moment. ORX Travel doesn’t currently offer travel insurance add-ons, but we’re always evolving based on partner needs. If insurance is a priority for your business, let us know—we can add it to our development timeline and explore options to prioritize it.
